Employees are sharp enough to judge that the company’s provided PCs are scrutinized and the chats can be monitored by the employer any time possible. So, they were fiercely using their smartphones to kill time. I could smell it but was ignoring it, which was my biggest gaffe, my light treatment and ignorance, encouraged few of them to even work absent mindedly and half heartedly. They were more inclined towards gaming consoles, social networking websites and messenger chats. Many among the staff were involved in searching new jobs and a big share was regular visitor of online dating sites. It was nevertheless a shock for me and bearer was my tiny investing heart. They were wasting all my investments on such idle things and causing irremediable losses. The whole knowledge was devastating and my faith on me being a good entrepreneur was shaking. Suddenly, more nowhere my friend appears to me, he was in New York for the last 5 years and gave me a surprise visit. Instead of welcoming him warmly, was greeted him coldly, which was later embarrassing for me to realize. But he was understanding and asked me the reason of my slackness. I told him the whole situation and ask him a way out of such droopiness.

Android Guide for contacts import with Google Contacts

Export contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express (or any other application) to csv format and then import to gmail. That should do it for most users.

If you have your contacts on an old GSM phone, you could export them on to the SIM card and then import them to your new phone.

While you are there, try the “find duplicates” functionality. You can also add contacts into groups. The groups show up on your phone too after the sync.

Now on your android phone, browse to Contacts>Settings>Display options>Select “Only contacts with phones”, and also Google>Select all groups.

If you want to pull social contacts too, install the Facebook and Twitter apps and select to import data from all contacts. You should then see pictures and other address data added to your contacts auto magically.

Bitcoin Wallet Android app peer-to-peer digital currency download and install

First introduced to the Android Market on Wednesday, the Bitcoin app for Android turns your smartphone into a wallet for Bitcoins, a form of alternative, decentralized currency that has been circulating the web for a few years. The app allows you to store and transfer Bitcoins from one device to another, which means you’ll be able to pay for items without having to use cash or credit, all from the comfort of your own smartphone.

This is a stand-alone Bitcoin Wallet implementation for your mobile phone. Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency.

You can send bitcoins between phones just by scanning the QR code that is displayed by the app.

KNOWN ISSUES, PLEASE READ:

If App force closes upon start after updating to new version, make sure to clear app data in application manager.
It is currently limited to testnet (meaning those Bitcoins have no real value). For production use, some issues have to be resolved and the app has to prove stable.
When run for the first time, the block chain needs to be downloaded. This currently takes around 5-10 minutes on a WLAN. When the sync icon in the status disappears, the download is finished and the wallet is on the top of the block chain.
When a peer is connected, an exclamation mark icon is shown in the status bar. Should be a better icon, but I had none.
If you send money, you need to make sure that a peer is connected the moment you press ‘Send’. Otherwise, for now the app will force close and the transaction is lost.
No NFC support, because I still have no NFC-capable phone. If you can spare one (e.g. a Nexus S) send it over and I’ll send it back after NFC is implemented.
